After School Program 2024-2025
Our After School program is open to students from K-6th grades.
The teacher-student ratio is 1 to 12. We provide transportation for picking up and dropping off students.
Registration forms will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Confirmation will be emailed out.

NEW: we will offer Afficient Math and English program , a computerized, self-paced AI-powered program to students entering 3rd grade and up. This program aims to help students learn grade-level math, develop a strong foundation in reading comprehension, writing, language acquisition skills, and vocabulary, effectively improving their current GPA. (Time allocation: no less than three times per week, total no less than 60 minutes per week per course subject - for students learning with the Afficient Academy product).
Daily Schedule
2:30pm - 3:30pm: Outdoor activities
3:30pm - 4:50pm: Chinese classes and Chinese homework
4:50pm - 5:30pm: Math and activities
Optional service: after 5:30 pm and before 6 pm:

Note:

Regular school days (Mon-Fri): 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm of regular school days (scheduled by Chapel Hill/Carrboro school district); closed on the other days and days when public school dismisses earlier than normal time, and days CHCCS cancel all after school activities due to weather/emergency condition.

When CHCCS schools are closed due to weather conditions, ASAC after school will be closed. There is no refund for missed classes due to students’ absence or inclement weather.

Students may join our waist drum team, lion dance team, and/or chorus. Please indicate your preferences on your registration form.

Students are required to bring their own snacks to after school.
Tuition
Registration will be confirmed after the registration form and fee are received.
**Annual registration fee: $50 (only one registration fee is needed for both summer camp and after school registration)
**Deposit: $100 (due at time of registration)

For families with two or more children enrolled (full-time, non-Glenwood students only), the first child will pay the regular rate of tuition and siblings will receive a 10% discount.
